Several days ago we were watching the changes at Ole Miss as Kiffin was clearing house with his defensive staff. Within 48 hours Golding's move to Ole Miss was officially announced.

Often, little tidbits here and there confirm suspicions and thoughts on how things will shake out as Saban makes staff changes. More recently, we started looking at Schumann more deeply. And somewhat like the story with Golding, the little pieces are telling the story. The other day it was mentioned ...

I'm of the impression that Bama fans are a lot more enthralled with Schumann than Schumann is enthralled by Alabama.
...while this doesn't confirm one idea on the future DC at Alabama, I'd say it is a sign.

May be Pruitt. Saban will get his man. He knows what's at stake.
Hopefully not Pruitt. I'm not a fan of his, and I think he's always on the edge of causing major turmoil, regardless if how good of a DC he is. And, I admit, he's a great DC.

Interesting. Can you give me some examples of Pruitt always on edge of causing major turmoils...... That doesn't make sense at all.

I'm not sure I'm sold on public twitter posts, I don't know if he's coming here honestly. What I do know is, that if Saban and Alabama called, much like with Kirby and Georgia before. I'm pretty sure he'd at least come do an interview/meeting to hear everyone out.

This all being said you and I alluded to it earlier, I think Saban is waiting for the Pruitt investigation to finalize before naming him DC so there may be no need to interview the man right now.

We've got a good month or so before he has to make any type of decision and I'd guess he's waiting for the start of the dead period for recruiting to truly start his process of interviews/meetings.

1. I don't think so. Saban isn't going to do that. Alabama cleared Pruitt, but NCAA hasnt, and I'm not sure if Saban is going to wait a while knowing he might lose other candidates out there.

2. No he doesn't have a good month or so. Saban will have two new OC/DC, and half of new staff.. so he need them in place so they can get familar with alabama culture and such like that. So I think Saban will make hires before 31 of this month.

I'll just say he's not the character of person I'd want teaching young men, and leave it at that.

I'll add that for those who say that what he did at UT wouldn't be a violation now, I agree, but that speaks more to his character of breaking rules than being ahead of the curve.

I understand what you are saying......but that would speak to the entire culture of CFB and pretty much all the staff within the NCAA.

It is like trying to support a major brand/corporation that isn't woke. Pretty hard to do this day and age.
