37% from the field, Relly got called for two charges (one which was questionable IMO), team shot terrible from the free throw, and they still have no idea how to set up a damn screen. I swear, teams just switch into zone, forcing us to play more from the perimeter, and when someone gets double teamed, no one is fighting to get open.

Holy hell!! Coach Grant has started packing I would think.

Now it's just getting stupid as all hell.

There's nothing that can convince me that Grant should stay

It's sort of embarrassing seeing the coaching staff sitting on the bench at the end of the game, pouting and sullen, like spoiled, petulant children who didn't get their way, feeling sorry for themselves. Anthony, you're making two million dollars a year, why should anyone feel sorry for you?

Coach Hobbs was fired DURING the season and finished as a lame duck only a game under .500. Gottfried resigned mid-season with a 12-7 record. CMG's record of 17-15 from the year before was not acceptable at Alabama at that time. Wimp Sanderson coached before Hobbs and as far as results go I guess that one doesn't even need to be mentioned. I don't remember a season as bad as this one in my lifetime. How does anyone think it's remotely possible that CAG remains at Alabama?

when Coach Grant was hired, i was excited because i thought we'd gotten a coach that knew how to coach/play defense. apparently i was wrong in my assumption and expectations.

it seems like when the other team has the ball we just go through the motions and don't try to keep the other teams from driving to the basket. or if they're draining threes we don't get in their face and force them to take off-balance shots or force them to try to go inside where our big guys are waiting to block their path.

i don't know much about basketball, but i do know that if you block their path they can't get to the rim. and if you put your hands up and keep them up on the perimeter, they can't hit the long shot all day.

plus i think the team, as well as Coach Grant, needs to praise Trevor Releford. without him, we wouldn't have the number of wins we do.
