Sounds good but were are still playing FCS teams. How far are we from that reality?

I've never heard of that happening in power 5. I've heard of Alabama buying out Michigan State or Michigan buying out Arkansas before they play either game. Are there some examples out there of power 5 teams doing this to each other?

@planomateo, i'm guessing you'll recall Bowden vs Bowden, Auburn dropping out of the last year of their contract with FSU and if I'm recalling this correctly they bought out their second game over a span of six to eight years at this time ... been awhile. I want to say it was happening in '99.

Really wish all P5 would use the same schedule format. Play 10 P5 either 8in/2out or 9in/1out, 1 G5 and 1 FCS. If possible, make the G5 and FCS in state games. If all followed that, most of the G5 and FCS would get a pay day game and if they are in state, would be enough there to have a sliver of excitement instead of zero excitement for those games.
