šŸˆ šŸ† The College Football Playoffs - The Final Rankings and Bracket

Anybody think the Big 12 conference leaders will try to sway this game? There’s a lot of money on the line with 2 teams making the dance versus 1. I’m not saying they will, just asking.

Same question for ACC. If Duke wins, they could have no teams in. If Virginia wins, they’re in.

We’ve seen athletes bet on games and coaches bet on games. When there’s money on the line, this kind of money, crazy things are possible.

Already show what will happen if BYU win. Both Miami and ND could be out?

I don't subscribe to the conference conspiracies. Virginia has already doubled up Duke two or three weeks ago, so there's that.

By the same token, SEC should be doing all they can to help Bama. Big 12 is certainly attempting to help BYU.

Several no calls on PI. Of course that is the norm in all of football now. IMO, at least 90% of PI is not called. Probably closer to 99% of offensive PI. The no calls are tough on a team like TTU that gets off the bus throwing the football. BYU wound up helping TTU more than the officials ever could.
You say it's the norm in all of football now. How is that an intentional help to BYU? TT beat BYU about the same as they did in the regular season, 29-7 vs. 34-7.

I don't think the officials moved the needle. I'm just not a believer in the officials conspiracy. That belongs with the easters - East Tennessee and East Alabama.
