Well, what we needed to happen is happening, we just didn't hold up our end of the bargain this time. Oregon lost, and now it looks like Utah may not pull it out, atleast nasty enough where we get the nod if we won and Georgia one. I thought we were in as long as Georgia lost, but burns that much more now to know that damn kick is what kept us out.

Lot more than kick.... certainly a part...but there many others as important

I will admit I watched a bit of the PAC game while I was out for dinner. Neither of those teams belong in a playoff conversation, which solidifies the view that the field should not be expanded.

Really.....all the love for utah....as bad as the game I watched earlier in year...
Oregon has good moments...and really bad ones

This makes four teams watched in the last 24 hours and I don't see any of the four as the same caliber of team as UGA, LSU, and yes, Bama. I'd think Tua would have put up 35 or more against either defense in the first half. Mac, at least 28.

IF Jalen and OU end up winning this game he'll be the first player to play in the playoffs every year he was in college. What's even crazier is if Baylor ends up winning Jalen will see a freshman come in an win a championship.

Grabbing breakfast in town this morning. A Michigan fan is at the bar with me, he asked me how Montana is doing in football. He said football out here is terrible, just doesn't compare with the Big10. Funny thing to say to a stanger in Montana.

I'm wondering what fan is in another part of the country and first thing he says is how bad the local football is.

Some Bison alum I know would bed to differ! They think NDSU is almighty.

Oklahoma will get destroyed by Ohio State if they play. I love Jalen but he is still the same Jalen he was at Bama. Very lose holding the football, stares down receivers, takes off too early at times.

I saw the reference earlier today but didn't think it through that thoroughly. I suspect there's a few. If I'm not mistaken their first string has four or five seniors and I recall Simpson as a frosh. He's the only guy that comes to mind at this moment.

Now that I think about it, that line may have been "played in a championship." I'll have to see if I can find it again.
