šŸ“” šŸ† CFP Selection Show (and bowls) #1 Bama vs #4 Cincy in the semi's (UM vs UGA)

I honestly don't see them jumping Bama over Michigan if they keep it up. 21-3 at the moment. You don't get jumped for winning your P5 Conference Championship in a near shut out, even if someone else won theirs in startling fashion. Michigan 1, Bama 2. Cincy 3. UGA 4. Calling it now if Michigan keeps it like this. There are many saying UGA doesn't even deserve 4 and may be on the outside looking in.
Bama just beat the No#1 team soundly!

In favor of who? Notre Dame lost to the #3 team. Georgia would lose to the #1 team and played for a Conference Championship.
ND, Baylor. IDK. But the thing is that nobody who lost their conference championship has ever made the playoffs, UGA will be behinf Bama, Michigan, and Cincy, and they will not allow a rematch in the first round. If the beat down was so bad that Bama should be #1 then UGA lost their chance.

I believe UGA will still be in. With Bama's performance surely they will go to #1 but experience has taught me many things and that is never assume what someone else is going to do. If the committee wants to they could set up a first round between Bama and UGA. That would likely be Bama at #1 and UGA at #4 or Bama stays at #2 and UGA goes to #3. You just never know until it is announced what conversations are happening in that committee room.

I will say giving us a few weeks to get healthy is huge. Also I would like to see there be a game between a rematch just to give our guys other things to think about before having to dive back into a UGA game plan.

Michigan will be #1. It's 35-3 and they just took the ball away again and will probably make it 42-3 by the end. You don't get jumped when you win like that. That means UGA vs Michigan and Bama vs Cincy in the first round.
That was one of my scenarios but still hard for me to believe that UGA drops below Cincy. Going to get dicey with a possible Bama/UGA rematch in first round if UM goes to #1. Only thing I could see is them taking into account UM is beating Iowa where as Bama beat #1 team that was unbeatable so the media tells us. This could be a case where the media hype can help Bama.

UGA will be 4. Cincy is the last undefeated FBS team and only lost one game in two years. They will be ahead of UGA and it will be as proof that G5 teams are taken seriously.
G5 schedule over SEC schedule still hard to believe... If the committee wants to setup Bama and the SEC they will align a rematch in the first round to keep from having an all SEC championship. Never underestimate the politics and biases of people.

Yeah mentioned this in another thread. Can't see UGA falling below Cincy so if UM is #1 then we may have a rematch immediately. Not my preference for sure but if they want to prevent an all SEC championship they will go this way.

I still refuse to believe we will play Georgia in the first round. Michigan, Alabama, Cinnamon and Georgia. We steamroll Cincinnati and Michigan beats Georgia. We beat Michigan and we once again love our assistant coaches. Bryce wins the Heisman
