Tacario Davis was rumored some to us when he pulled back from the portal after the Arizona coaching change, now he's back in the portal. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't reach out and discuss a position here for him. Tacario Davis - Arizona Wildcats - Cornerback

I don't blame him one bit either. Dude should have gotten way more carries. He was really emotional in some games.
Most casual fans don't understand how difficult it is being a RB on a team with a running QB. Everyone wanted JM to carry the ball because he was so fast and shifty, and as a result your RBs get diminished opportunities. That's one reason why I'm not a fan of RBs that are turned into QBs. A QB should be responsible for getting the ball into the hands of your playmakers, either through handing it off or passing it. That's his job on the team.

That's one way to look at it.. there could be another way to look at it....
I hear you! But we got a lot of WR in that same portal, I watch some very upset person talk about the very same thing. Because these guys wasn't getting the ball either. I too not blame him either, but he may end up like some of the ones that left last year.

6.0 yards per carry is a pretty heavy number to not include in your game plan, no matter how good your quarterback is. I think we can all also say that the quarterback was not opening up holes for him to obtain such an average. if anything it actually stacked the odds against that kind of number.

He's got high potential. I doubt he'd come to bama, but it could be something for us to look into.

It sucks, and we could've utilized him more this season. But, RB isn't a position I'm too concerned about compared to others. We're absolutely stacked, and hopefully Miller decides to come back next year. Again, this sucks..... but I am excited for the new guys that are going to get an opportunity to get carries now, may even see Dear play early. That kid is a beast.

Talked about this kid maybe hitting the portal a few days ago. I think we should heavily pursue him and see if he commits. Guy is an athletic freak, and had the misfortune to play behind a stacked LB room at Georgia. He may wanna go back home and play for a Florida team. But I say we do what we can to get him.
