| FTBL Transfer Portal Entrants And News—

He won’t harp on it but you can bet Saban’s extremely frustrated with the O-line portal entrants. Those positions typically take a long time for a newcomer to play confidently. Losing a number of key backup players at the same time you’re losing the bulk of your starters would drive most coaches to drink.
Wait what? No. They were encouraged to enter portal.

I'll consider this Recruiting News, not Transfer of course.

I show this from Rivals a day or two ago...

Haynes' father, Verron, played at Georgia and there have been significant rumors that he would still consider the Bulldogs up until the end, along with Ohio State - which some believed was the real contender to flip him.

Only to show this...

I don't see them taking a step down. Do well and they still will end up in nfl.
I'm just saying anywhere else is a step down from Alabama. Even if some of them make it to the NFL, I'd bet they will still wonder what might have been. I learned a short while ago that sometimes taking the cheap way out may be good in the short term, but not so much in the long run. I mean would you rather tell people you played at Alabama during the dynasty, or would you rather say you couldn't cut it at Alabama and had to go to UCF or Syracuse or Kentucky to play football?

Someone will always say, yeah they looked good in college, but they didn't play anyone. Isn't that what we hear all of the time when we talk about the UCF's of the world?
