Terry, not to harp on this, but could there still be plans to use Wheaton for 4 games, where he can still retain his RS? We're one tweaked ankle away from needing to use the emergency RB or Wheaton once he's cleared to play.
Just for reference sake, here's the schedule.
Last weekend he was on the sideline still on a scooter. We know he's not medically cleared for practice. If we rush the time-table let's say he's off the scooter by Mississppi State, He can start his rehab at the beginning of the UT week. In a sped up time-table let's say he's able to practice by New Mexico State. He might be game speed but would be up to speed with the playbook. Where does he fit, catching blitzes for Milroe in that game?
Then comes Auburn, SECCG, and what follows.
Where is there the opportunity to play? It's a red shirt year. I don't see him getting into any games though.
