Crazy game. The talent level up there is just on another level.
The offenses were super interesting to me. Hoover had a ton of window dressing with shifting/motioning, unique formations/alignments, etc. and their play-caller is very creative (they had a double reverse pass called in the first quarter that was absolutely beautiful and the receiver was WIDE open up it was overthrown). Thompson, on the other hand, is much more straight forward and a lot more of a ground and pound type of team than I expected. They have two REALLY good backs. Baby Tua didn't even throw the ball until the second quarter. He was okay but looked nowhere near as dynamic as advertised. I wasn't overly impressed by Hoover's defense, so I don't think you can chalk it up to that. He's gonna have issues with Central.
