What i remember about that Loyola game. Late in the game, we were winning playing and running our regular offense. But late in the game, Coach Wimp pulled back on the reins to slow it down and run clock. Wrong strategy, it backfired. We ended up losing. If we had kept the pedal to the metal, we probably would have won that game easily.

That may be what he was referring too... been a while since I've heard it. But I've heard Wimp enough over the years to learn the poor guy has a few regrets from his coaching days that still eat at him. I think he said that team though, he felt could win it all.

And one cannot forget the time when he just completely blew me off on the steps at Coleman one morning. I mean...me! A valued student. Even though I was a senior, I still had feelings.
