🏈 This is the year I will finally get to see a Bama game

Jill, if you're willing to stay about an hour and a fifteen minutes from campus, I can probably cover you for a night or two at the lake. I would recommend staying at the lake on the night before the game and staying in town following the game.

Tim

If I have to say something to you in terms of gaining more excitement is that I attended a game at BDS for the first time last year but.... coming all the way from SPAIN!!

So it took me two flights (Spain to Germany and then Atlanta, USA), some hours driving (First to reach to the spanish airport which was more than 1 hour away, and obviously the fact of having to drive to Florida through Mobile, NOLA and MISS for finally get to T-town). Yes, I wanted to visit some places on my journey, Who not coming so far away?

I placed some tents with friends at Deerlick Creek, just 30 minutes away from the Quad. I enjoyed the experience of camping and bonfires.

It was the LSU game which I had always dreamt of. The atmosphere was electrifying and everywhere was packed, so I can't wait to come back for watching the Crimson men battling some SEC foes.

Why aren't you going to make it happen? Syracuse looks very close to me. Huh?

Roll Tide!

Now that I have a stable long term job, and will have vacation time starting in July, I can officially begin planning a trip back down to the Yellowhammer state for my first ever Alabama football game!!! (next visit: Alabama softball game!)

So, for home games, I've got:

Middle Tennessee
Ole Miss
UL Monroe
Arkansas
Tennessee
LSU
Charleston Southern

Whatcha recommend? Definitely can't afford LSU and UT, probably not Ole Miss or Arkansas either, so that limits me haha.

Can't wait to get me some Dreamland ..

Go to the ULM game. Start out by going to Hicks BBQ for lunch, walk around campus, get some 'Bama gear, and take memorable photo shots. If you're hungry, go to either Mugshots for a burger or Rama Jama's. Stroll on downtown Tuscaloosa, see the interesting development, go through the attractions, see the amphitheater, then go on old river rd (now named Jack Warner Pwky) and go to a park. At night, go to Dreamlands. Then in the morning, avoid trying pay an unusual amount for a parking space, just go on McFarland Blvd, go to the University Mall, ride the bus to the stadium, walk around the Quad again, get some beer, eat the great food, and then head to the stadium to watch the game. Punch, spit, kick any opposing fan you see. If you see any player nearby, grab his hand, give him money, then say roll tide and walk off.
