Hey guys ⦠when you say āwe got this much snowā tell us again where you live. My old brain struggles with names so you can bet I struggle with hometowns. Thanks!
Earlier I saw someone mention 1982 and that storm. LSU was visiting Coleman that evening and the jist of the story was how Bama held such a home court advantage: visitors couldn't get in. I'll see if I can find the Tweet.

I think it was in One Man's Meat, E.B. White said (of Maine), you know it's spring when you open the door and the wind comes in like a friend instead of an intruder...
No snow, here. It's supposed to get down in the teens tonight. A good bit of people called off of work for tomorrow. I guess they don't like the cold. Where I work, there's no heat (or A/C, for that matter) in the warehouse. But I'll be there because life takes money.
@sk33tr as a retired teacher, I saw firsthand the changes that school systems took when it came to inclement weather, from tornadoes to snow/ice. With tornadoes, it was the devastating tornado in Enterprise that took the lives of students and teachers. Here in Alabama, we hardly ever have a dry snow so, it melts and then freezes over and roads become such a mess. Buses arenāt made to operate in that mess.
