Chromecast, running through T-Mobile's Internet, gives me a feed out of Charlotte. The (their) temp is on the home screen. I just add a few degrees and walk outside. I could change it. I don't care.

You may want more detail than I do. I'll admit, Wednesday I looked at the numbers for this morning. I have to be downtown for a "filter change" before the sun comes up. I wanted to know the temp to judge what it's going to feel like down there.
I mention "doing the math" with the temp and Chromecast. Damn, as much as I hate it, here's more math. It's 50 at the airport. I'm about 10 miles from there, more inland, so it's three to four degrees cooler here. I'm guessing 47 or so. But, I'm going downtown. So, I have to that that 47 and add as much as 10 degrees. It's probably 55-58 down there right now. It's one of those "perks" of living on the coast.
In summer ... if it's mid 90's here, it's mid 80's down there.
I have my grandma's quilt and I use them often. Grandma used to make bunch of them and the rest of the quilt is at her house.. it's full of mold and rat dropping. The house is condemned. I'm just lucky to have one of her quilt. It's the best thing to have.
Looks like the camera is on UNA campus, south side, shooting back toward downtown on Pine St.
As for our weather here in southern Ohio, depending on which model and station you watch we will get anywhere from 8-18 inches of snow. All the stations agree that we will be below zero for a few days and warm up to maybe double digits during the daytime. So far nothing is falling outside. Mrs. Alabama Mike and I decided to go out for breakfast this morning, it was 7 degrees.

My mom still makes them from time to time. She's made me a couple of them (one is a BAMA quilt). And I think she still has one that her grandmother made. And since she lives with me, now, it's here in the house...somewhere.

Earlier in the week it was discussed but then weather models changed. It’ll just be a cold rain around here now. Not sure if the Vols will be able to go back home tonight or not. I’d assume it’ll nasty in Knoxville. But tipoff is still set for 7:30.
