The University of Alabama will celebrate the Crimson Tide’s 2009 National Championship on Saturday, Jan. 16th at 2 p.m. in Bryant-Denny Stadium.

I soooo want one of those posters. It doesnt seem realistic for me to drive from Atlanta to Tuscaloosa for a 1 hour event.

I'm in east Alabama and I can't see driving over for 1 hour. At least for fan day, you had the chance to see a couple hours of practice before autographs began.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I'll be there. Since I only got 2 tickets to BCS game I could only take one child. It was my oldest son's turn. My daughter went to the last 2 SECCG's. Soooo, I promised her that if Alabama won I'd take her to the celebration. The youngest has a really cool friend's b'day party, so an Alabama celebration can't top that in his mind.

I've got hotel reservations the night before and plan to take in the Alabama-UGA gymnastics meet. Then, we'll spend a leisure morning on campus before heading over to Bryant-Denny. I'm looking forward to a day in Tuscaloosa with no game day stress and nerves.....:td:

I'm debating how realistic it is for me to do just that!?!?! I was already thinking about heading over to Birmingham anyway. Hmmmm...

I'm thinking of driving down from Muscle Shoals. I'm trying to turn the girlfriend over from the dark side and this could only help my chances. Maybe I'll take her down to the museum and stuff.
