That's according to their head coach.

It had nothing to do with our defensive pressure. It had nothing to do with our schemes. It had nothing to do with our execution. It had nothing to do with our talent. It had nothing to do with our atmosphere. It was all due to a lack of confidence.:lance:

Thanks for nothing Petrino. At least give credit where credit is due. I don't know about you, but I take that as a slam. As in "Alabama really isn't that good; we just didn't execute". Hmmm. May I point you to the scoreboard? It wasn't 35-31, 35-28, 35-17, etc... It was 35-7! No class. 'Nuff said. :a:

I noticed that at half time and at the end of the game. Petrino NEVER ONCE even gave Alabama props for playing a good game. He just kept saying how "We" weren't playing to our potential...it was all We, We, We. After he got finished talking, I said to my friends that he should have just told the truth...."Bama kicked our ass up and down the field, we couldn't get anything done because this team is simply better than us"....that would have been the truth!

did someone suggest petrino has an ego :)

so 2 years in a row, Arkansas has been whooped by bama according to the scoreboard. I think the Arkansas WR's caused as much damage to their numbers as the Bama defense. they clearly dropped many, many passes they should have caught...was this due to them being worried about getting hit, who knows.

I hope A&M whoops some Arkansas ass next week. Last year Bama and Texas whooped arkansas back to back, maybe A&M can follow suit. I would put my money on Arkansas beating A&M based on the A&M game I went to last weekend versus Utah State.

Look at it this way. Indirectly, Petrino and his team paid the Alabama defense a great compliment if the Arkansas team did, indeed, not come into Tuscaloosa with confidence.

How would you feel if you were suiting up in the visitor locker room, knowing that shortly you would be finding yourself caught in a vise and taking sledge hammer-like blows.

All Petrino was doing was attempting to massage his team's bruised and battered ego. Let's not forget the "after effects" that Bama has placed on other teams the week or two after they have faced the Tide.

( lacks confidence)now thats funny coming from the 2nd ranked offense in the nation....idk these days it's 1 or 2 things when a team gets beat or the team didn't play to their potential...our players had the flu or we lacked confidence...how in the hell does a nationally ranked offense lack confidence:bs: :rofl::rofl:

Having to sit through game film of watching Bama's defense stuff and pound folks.

After Bama answered Arkansas' score to up the margin to 21 to 7, I do believe what hope the Razorbacks did have of beating the Tide was washed away.

Being 14 points down has got to feel like an insurmountable deficit to overcome against this Bama's defense.

You tell it sister!!!!

Well to be fair, if our starters could catch a pass in the first quarter the second teamers are probably out there in the thind. Greg was looking that good, but several drive continuing plays werent made and that one pass to Maze, that went right through his arms and off his number like a muffed punt, had touchdown all over it.

Exactly how I feel.

I've been tempted today to put together a piece for the blog here about that very subject—just finished my al.com stuff though...still might, if the notion continues and it doesn't interfere with "Curb" tonight.

Translation: My team is no longer drinking my koolaid. I am a failed coach.

There is a reason it's called...
