🏈 The NCAA IS Investigating Auburn

I hate to take sides with an AUB, but those guys are beginning to look a lot more correct than us Bama fans wishing ill will on them.

There has been rumor after rumor for 6 months now, and nothing has turned into damning evidence. Just a whole lot of smoke. Now, do I think that AU is up to something, and it's dirty to the core? I do. I think they are negative recruiting, and I think they might be giving benefits in ways and amounts that are undetectable so far. To think, this is what they've been learning how to do! I would have thought that they could come up with a way to fix their sick tree. Supposedly a great horticulture department. Guess it's about as good as that Sociology school. And while I'm at it, their engineering school isn't worth crap either, judging from the design of the Birmingham Highway 280 junctions. If that isn't the Highway to Hell, I don't know what is.

Anyway, I don't think they are going to suffer any serious punishment at any time in the future. Their might be some academic issues, but our Auburn friend here is right: they aren't going to be turned into a junior college. So, tip of the hat to DUDER, who is looking like the only knowledgable person around here. Sources this, sources that. Souces here, Souces there ....And not a shred of evidence to do with anything. Tide fans, let's stop the pre-occupation with seeing Auburn burn. I could care less what happens in Lee County. Trees and all.

Just heard the guy on the radio today that says he heard the tapes. He says both Tennessee & Auburn offered Newton money and they say as much on the tapes, but according to him (like Big Fan said) "Cam Netwon is the least of Auburn's worries".

Finebaum played an interview with Scott Moore from what I think was a radio show out of Moblie, Al. Scott was saying he had heard some tapes.

The "Bingo" trials get underway in June. If what I've been hearing is true, a lot of very damaging information about the Aubs practices will be made public then.

I heard the interview with Moore as well. He also said that the NCAA would be heading into Arkansas as well to investigate the Barn at Shiloh Christian. It is only gaining steam and not losing it like so many Barners wish that it would.

It would surprise me if anything in the Aub. investigation had bad stuff about us. There is some slight chance that the UT investigation might have something bad for us, since Lance Thompson was here before he was there.

Someone said earlier that the CK situation would be looked into as well tho... that could potentially have Bama fingerprints, could it not? I mean I hope to God that nothing does come out, but all this investigation is just worrisome...

I would think with the CK issue, it would smell bad for the Barn. We have been in on that kid for over a year and have his brother here already. As for the Barn, they jump in in mid-Jan and get an official visit after having not been on the radar. Plus some of the connections that the Barn has with some shady characters in the DC area doesn't bode well for them.

Like Joe, I would worry about the UT situation if Lance Thompson's name came up as having some improper dealings. From what I read, it all points to Kiffin, Reaves, Ogeron, and another not named Thompson.
