I can't respect the hustle. That comment to Leahy is a case of misogyny if I've ever seen one. Yet, where is the outcry? Is he not receiving any due to race? I simply don't get why there isn't reaction when there's been reactions that were overboard to far less examples.
Classic example of why I stopped watching these shows years ago. Maybe it's me, but Leahy seemed like she was trying to sensationalize his comments. Turn this into something bigger, making it a women's issue or a fat issue. I kinda enjoy that someones taking the fight to these sports reporters who've thrived on creating nonsense drama.
Remind me again why Lavar is still on tv, not like this is the first time he's said/done something stupid.
I still stick to my thought, respect the hustle. Don't agree with how he's doing some of it. Lavar could probably work this 100% behind the scenes and be equally as productive, but he's chosen the brash, in your face, negative publicity path.
With regards to Kyrie, I think that whole thing was taken a bit outta context.
In all honesty, I really don't care about Lavar or his kids. But I do like that someone is doing something so different that it will have an impact on the future of marketing, sponsorship, licensing, etc. Will it be a positive or negative impact is yet to be seen. Not how I'd go about it, I'd let my kids do their own thing and stay outta their business unless they asked for help.
