💬 The Lavar Ball saga continues

I feel for you (as I'm sitting here listening to the HBO broadcast of the R&R Hall of Fame... god, I do love me some ELO.

Oh, I'll watch the occasional movie or live sports event, and I'll stream some series when it catches my interest (mad men, house of cards, westworld), but I don't watch any regular programming. Music and concerts are streaming. I did enjoy the Eagles documentary (first half much more than the second).

If I'm not mistaken, this award show is the one where Journey gets inducted. I've never been a concert goer ... but did catch Journey back in the '80's.

You still have cable at your house? I'm guessing more for the kids than you...

Yes, I still have it with Comcast, and they are the best internet option for me. If there is something I want to see, I can watch it.

They were debating Trump on Finebaum this afternoon... yeah, I think Im joining the "I dont want anything to do with politics in a sports talk show" bandwagon now... especially if its gonna be like that...

If I'd made a comment like this to an African American person (stay in your lane), it would be the biggest crime since the JFK assassination. But a black guy says it to a respected lady, and.... nothing. Why is discrimination only a one-directional thing? Why do we tolerate this sh$t and give some groups of people a free pass to discriminate? When usually, those that seem to cry the most, have never truly seen real discrimination.

I can't respect the hustle. That comment to Leahy is a case of misogyny if I've ever seen one. Yet, where is the outcry? Is he not receiving any due to race? I simply don't get why there isn't reaction when there's been reactions that were overboard to far less examples.

Knowing Tim, I'm betting he watched the original with Brolin, Brynner, et. al. I'm sure there's a large group that recognize Crichton but have no idea that was his first feature film.

I did go re-watch the original before the series. I did the same thing before I got around to watching the Magnificent Seven, too. They didn't use the musical score until the very end, which I consider awesome, only behind the Sons of Katie Elder soundtrack.

RTR,

Tim
