I HIGHLY doubt it. Especially after the HC having only one year to implement his program. And I think Kirby knows he's a college guy.

Atlanta isn't firing Arthur Smith after one year - especially one year where they may have a winning record after three HORRDENDOUS seasons - and Kirby isn't leaving to be a DC.

Brian Kelly has hired Cincinnati's OC as his new OC.

Every Cincinnati fan's opinion of this is that they're happy he's gone. Judging by their play calling against us, I can see why. We played great defense - credit to Golding - but I thought they were very conservative. The one play call that made no sense was the screen on 3rd and long on their first drive.

He'll have more talent at LSU. But I wouldn't be overly excited. Then again, I wouldn't overly excited if Kelly was my HC.

That's pretty big on both the coaching front and recruiting. More hiring challenges for Dat Boy.
I am actually a Dabo fan and I know a lot are not but this will definitely be where Dabo will see a big difference between him and Saban. Saban has so many NFL connections he has a much larger network and pool to find replacements.

@mando

Do you remember the thread about Dabo at the Clemson game where he ran down the hill all by himself? The big "Dabo moment" when he caught up with the cheerleading squad whilst his players and staff were at the top of the hill?

As mentioned then, it was all about Dabo that day, we're seeing that now with their staff. These guys we're seeing leaving were integral parts of what they built. They were more than willing to get out.

I'm not making it up when I say, "Dabo was begging" guys to stay. Figuratively, hands and knees shit (though tears were involved, literally.)

I do remember and for so many years it looked like the staff was loyal to Dabo. That led me to conclude that he treated them right and they enjoyed working for him. With this latest round of losses it tells me something has changed or been exposed. Maybe Dabo's success did go to his head and he changed how he interacted and treated people or it the issues were always there but is was worth these coaches putting up with but after years of it is no longer the case because they have good options.
