🏈 Team with the most bandwagon fans

What do you think?

I've always thought Ohio State and Notre Dame had a ton of them. Oregon has a lot right now, too, given their success recently but it's mostly out west. OSU and ND fans seem to be all over ..

I actually saw a ton of Auburn stuff "appear" in DC in 2010 (I was still in school then). It was almost like everyone became a fan overnight. I don't think they rank up there in terms of most bandwagon fans, though.

We witnessed some of our own leaving the game early the other night :D...but that's by my definition, not what's in Urban Dictionary.

With regards to has the most, good question. Let's define Bandwagon Fan first. Urban Dictionary has the following...are you good with this?

Anyone who claims they are a "fan" of a particular sports team, even though they had no prior support for/interest in the team until that team started winning. These types of fans only show playoff interest, have probably never watched a regular season game, don't own any type of team merchandise, nor would they buy any.

I live pretty close to Auburn so I see that they have tons, but usually FSU is the one that gets me most. Didn't see very many FSU fans around here until they won the NC then I saw them all over. Haven't seen a lot this year so far.

Miami used to be the one that got me the most but they have been bad for too long right now.

Florida State is the one that always gets me. Not many FSU fans over the age of 50 exist, illustrating the fact that the team emerged as a contender in the 80s when fledgling fans became teenagers and pledged allegiances.

A real challenge to a bandwagon fan is to list the team's coaches from years past. The fake fan will falter and flounder.

Considering they've only had a football team since 1947 I'd expect that.... The Florida State College for Women :D

From the official transcript of the pre-game speech delivered before the 1946 FSU/Georgia Tech matchup to open the season:

"Ladies, they say we have no chance. They say we're too SMALL. We're fragile. Well don't listen to them. The naysayers. The Pundits. We're going to wipe the floor with them... not that you wipe floors, but, well, you know what I'm saying. Have a clean game...you know, not that you ladies, cleeean, but.... Anyway, if you begin to see laundry on the ground... I mean, penalty flags, not dirty clothing... Aw, dammit girls, go win this game!"
