I cannot wait for the season to get here! For all of the naysayers that say Blake Barnett isn't bulked up enough, he's a wet noodle, he will get killed by game three if he plays... I believe that he is at least as big if not a little bigger than Johnny Manziel was in 2012 when started for A&M as a Redshirt Freshman. Just a thought.

I am a new member. That was my 1st post. I think Blake Barnett will be a great player for the awesomeness that is Alabama football at some point. From what I have read, at this very early point, I would say turn him loose. I really want nothing more than a rematch against OSU. Maybe Coach Saban can give Urban another "Heart Problem"

RBR had me accepting of Bama's first true frosh QB last NOV. The gifs alone show the promise and talents he has.

Tremendous learning curve, no doubt. But it's not beyond reason given his ability.... being here all spring and summer probably didn't hurt his cause either.

Funny you say that. My source told me today that watching these QB is like watching "donkeys fight over a turnip".

I watched a couple new videos today,

Coker couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat and his wind up dear god.

Cornwell.... he literally hit ridley in the ankle and almost tripped him. On a 7 yard slant...

I may have seen 2 completions...

This is getting stupid.

You're scaring me, Boz. Surely, someone will emerge as the front runner after tomorrow's scrimmage. At this point, it looks like we're going to have to depend heavily on the big uglies to open things up for the ground game. No shortage of talent with the RB's. I'm good with 90/10 run to pass.

This stuff is getting to their head. They're nutting up and trying to win the job on every throw. We'll have one that wants it more.

I'm fine with a 70/30 run pass split. Control the game. The fewer possessions we allow opponents is going to give them an even less chance at scoring on our defense. They will be the ones getting it done for us.

Coker is late throwing the ball even during drills. Saturday will be huge for the QB's but this QB thing will go on for the rest of the year. Hope for no major injury at the scrimmage. Hope Bama can sign another QB in this class because it is very possible that at least 3 of these guys may be gone at the end of this season. (Morris,Bateman,and Cornwell(if Blake gets the 2nd spot.))
