Maurice Clarett is on campus to talk to the team tonight.

I remember watching him play as a true freshman. Kid was absolutely f#cking amazing. I knew from the first game i ever saw him he was a rare special breed. Its unfortunate his mind wasn't right. He should have been focued on business. Damn shame but hopefully the Bama kids learn something.

Well the mental part of the game and life is more important than one's talent. I think over and over again we've seen where a cool and calm head rises over talent on more occasions than not. I never cared for the guy and his attitude. He always looked slow to me, but that could have been due to his bowling ball type appearance in pads. I also can't get over Ohio State being handed a National Championship. I have a lot of ill feelings towards Ohio State and the gift wrapped Championship and Clarett are all a part of it.

On another note, glad he is finding a way to use his old attitude as a way to better prepare younger guys and to make some money for himself. I will never deny a man for finding a way to make legitimate money, so good for him in that aspect.

That's my understanding. Saban has had a few "cautionary tales" in each season. These kids know how well he played at OSU. OSU certainly rings a bell with these guys right now. And I'd bet the majority on the team knew of his troubles before he arrived on campus.
