How did you feel about Star's performance yesterday. How's he coming with his ability to read a zone defense? Whats your views?

I was impressed as one could be. Glad he got plenty of playing time yesterday. I think Bama needs it should Greg get hurt (Heaven forbid!). I hope we have a couple more games like yesterday where he can get more playing time.

He has a rocket for an arm and throws very well on the run. Just needs to add a little touch to some of his throws.

I'm going to have to watch the game again to get a better understanding of just how he did. His arm did impress me—good release with a lot of velocity.

Some of his decisions, but only a couple, on passes were questionable.

He's certainly not as polished as Greg. But, he certainly does seem to have some potential.

Agreed. Great arm strength, not much touch on his throws. Looks to be a very good athlete that will present multiple problems for teams. Great to see. Off the subject but Trent just runs like he's possessed.

You know the kid's head was spinning, but he handled it well and got us into position for a field goal. I was glad we could finally get our backups some meaningful time. It will pay huge dividends down the road.

It was not a bad snap from center. Bama was running quick count - snap on first sound. Star forgot and started checking off. Vlachos did what he was supposed to do, snap the ball when the QB made a sound.

I'm sorry but snapping it below his knees IMO opinion constitutes a bad snap. Star already crouches down really low to get the ball, but Vlachos has rolled it to our QB's several times this year. Had the ball hit Star in the waiste, chest, or his nads...I would be willing to put all the blame on Star, but that ball was low.

He looked like a young quarterback. That being said, for a young QB he looked decent. I am a Star fan so I hope we get to see him more.

I think Star got more comfortable as his playing time increased Saturday. I think his biggest goof was getting the delay penalty with the clock staring him in the face like CNS stated.

I liked how Star managed things. He has a lot of upside. Cannon for a arm, fast feet, can throw a good ball on the run, decent velocity, and he moved the ball good in the 2 minute offense. Like what was already said he isn't as polished as Greg, but God forbid something happened to Greg I think we'd be alright.
