The way the article reads, he is gone. It is just a matter of where he is going - be it Georgia State or somewhere else.

Personally, I think he should go to JSU.

Haven't we known this was coming for like 10 months now? Its been becoming pretty obvious Sims was going to be #3 by September. No offense to Star. He still has a ton of potential, he just isn't developing as fast as the other QBs. He could still be a solid starter for someone in another season or two.

This has been talked about since last year, really. If he transfers it won't be a surprise. Non BCS makes the most sense, as otherwise he would lose another year of eligibility. I agree that Ga. State wouldn't offer him the best chance to develop. As a new program it would have at best a rag tag offensive line, so Star would be running for his life against other non BCS schools, much less on the November trip to T-town. Where ever he ends up, I wish him well.

wish him well. i hope he dominates wherever he goes. he has gotten a lot better since being here. at least he can know that being at alabama helped hime develop as a player.

I wish him well. Coach Saban said it best that the QB position is a difficult one to play. Only one can start and the others get antsy wanting their shot. Star has gotten better and he should do well at another school.

kinda sucks to see a QB that was rated so highly outta high school ride the bench for so long. believe he was the #5 QB in the nation at the time.

The better a team becomes, it seems like the more this happens. Sort of the nature of the beast. I would do the same thing.
