And, adding onto that a bit, who are you with?
In my area, with U-verse, there are five packages availableāstarting with a basic package and going all the way up to U-450. There's a price difference of roughly 100 bucks a month between the two...maybe $110. The basic gives access to local channels (out of two viewing areas) and the 450 tier is around 500 channels. I chose the middle tier which comes with a $10 add-on for HD.
It's easier to list what I don't get than what I do.
FoxSports- Atlantic, Pacific, and Central.
NFL
MLB
GolTV
LHN
Tennis
Spanish language channels.
Now, what's a little odd to me is I do get FSN St. Louis, Indianapolis, and Kansas City. I get the B1G network. Keep in mind I live off the coast of South Carolina.
IF what kudzu has posted is true about the SECN only being available for the U-450 group that means it would cost me an additional $50 a month. Right now, with a packaged Internet and TV deal, my TV runs about $90 with a $25-30 a month discount since I also have 'net access through U-Verse.
Simply put, not worth it, at all.
What do your TV packages include? Who are you with? Rough cost estimate?
