And, as many have seen I'm sure, but can't be posted enough, the lavish infrastructure that Putin and his regime have welcomed the world with...

Just got done watching the US women's hockey take on Finland. The US won 3-1. The US women are stupid fast! They play discipline hockey in all three zones, tape to tape passes, not afraid to mix it up, they crowd the net, and they're just plain good. Will be interested to watch the Canadian women

They start Thursday don't they?

9 I believe today (11 for Central time)

I just saw that Group B starts today, but the Group A starts tomorrow.

Who do you think wins the gold? My 9 yr son says US, but he wants Sweden to do good because his favorite player plays for them (Gabriel Landenskog).

I think US and Canada play for the gold and US wins it 4-3 in OT

Between Russia, Canada, and the US.....probably Canada again lol. Reason: Crosby, Jeff Carter, Kunitiz (Crosby's teammate with the Penguins), and Toews. The list goes on, their forwards are insane. The only person I know that is on the Russian team is Alex Ovenhkin.

Here's a good article though on the U.S. Kind of bias towards us: http://www.nj.com/devils/index.ssf/...s_hockey_5_reasons_why_usa_will_win_gold.html

Russia has a good team, at least scoring wise they do. They've got Ovy, Malkin (from the Penguins), Ilya Kovalchuk (used to play for NJ Devils), their goalies are wicked, they've got Bobrovsky (Columbus Blue Jackets) and Varlamov (Colorado Avs), but I don't know their defense because they all play in the KHL I believe.
