If I was the head coach, I would have imposed a fine and kept him off the field (for at least the first quarter). There's no place for that kind of behavior. He embarrassed himself, the coaching staff, the program and the school.

as i've always said.....

i just don't understand "auburn logic". it's like the reverse of normal logic with anyone else.

they seem to think that if they believe hard enough and long enough, it'll come true.

He's a short timer at AU. I don't think Gus has the stones to punish him. But if you rely on the conference to punish him, it opens it up for other schools to get punished for coaching behavior (warranted or not). What is the threshold for the conference to step in?

It seems to be only a matter of where, not when.

Will Muschamp may be the next head coach at South Carolina or the new defensive coordinator at Georgia or Alabama. The destination is unclear at the moment, but sources close to the Auburn program tell AL.com they don't expect him to return for another season on the Plains.

I imagine someone was probably tagging that onto the 2nd unsportsmanlike penalty that a player receives.
