Great time for a vacation rental in one of the thousands of cabin rentals in that area...hell, if I were uagrad...screw the Smokey Mountains!

Or, 75 to 411 (Exit 60 on Hwy 68 will get you to 411) - through Maryville and Townsend. Much more beautiful drive, less congested, and closer.

This is the way i go. You can come out in Pigeon Forge on Wears Valley Rd. or you can take it straight into the mountains and go through Gatlinburg. I never have to worry about driving through Knoxville anymore. :td:

I hated the drive when we made it from Birmingham about 8-9 years ago. The traffic up 75 drove me crazy, too many idiots driving the speed limit in the left lane - I'm a speeder
