🏈 Scott Cochran tweet

Never heard such from a first time on- field special teams coach....
Maybe we will hear....he was responsible for the 5 NCs in last 10 years and taught his boy....Nick Saban....everything
....if UGA dont win something BIG soon..and I mean very soon......he may be knocking on Nicks door for a job....
Kinda really starting to hope Mullen and Gators start to put a run together....

Whether Scott understands it or not his tweet makes him look small. He should be all settled in at DawgVille and nothing about Crimson should be on his mind.
But......
You, and I, and a lot of others have always said that the Barn has little brother syndrome. Looks like "Fake Punt U" is competing for that title now. Anything put out by or about Alabama seems to draw an immediate response from Kirby & the other minions at UGA.

I believe Kirby suffers from the short dik syndrome . Nick must have really pissed the guy off in his days at Bama. 2020 is a big year for every team in the SEC (perform or be fired) but this year is really big for Kirby. His honeymoon is ovah. Nobody can top my chart for being the team I dislike more than the cow college but UGA is dayum close.

Somebody look at me ........ I was made successful from the best eye for talent , recruiting coach and developer of talent in the game and therefore I should be treated as such ..

Never mind that as the years moved on I became increasingly less interested in my job and instead was mainly focused on getting on the field position and therefore the injury bug starting reeking havoc.

Sure he gets credit for the off season workouts but less and less per year simply because his regiment just wasn’t as successful for what ever the reason .

I’m sensing a pattern.

When you have nothing of your own to promote what do you do?

I see 0 issues with this.... Dude worked with all those kids. That goes on the resume
How many first time special teams coaches have you seen that thinks they should be sending out promotional tweets? Man if you are serious back away and learn your new craft and let the performance of that unit speak for you. You decided to take a new path now go earn it.

I don't have an issue either. He put in the work and time with each of those guys. I know Coach Saban said that Cochran spends more time with the players than he does, so hearing that, he has a big time relationship with each of them. Now if he had a Georgia G or logo on it, then I have a problem, but this is nothing more than him showing his accomplishments.

So you don't have accomplishments from past jobs on your resume? You're touting your abilities and accomplishments at other jobs to gain your new spot of employment.

He's hired already. He's not trying to get a job. You're comparing apples to oranges.

Do I tweet about my prior accomplishments in my future jobs...no. Do I tell everyone what I did at my current job in my previous jobs...no. I let my actions speak for themselves at my new employer. But hey, that's me...

He's using this this to win in recruiting. Bad look...but that's all he's got, I get it.

And to be clear, I wouldn't want any Alabama coaches tweeting about their past 1st rounders.

This is called recruiting, brotha.

Look at almost any College or pro Coaching Bio and you'll see them touting the accomplishments of former players at former schools

Isiah Corbett and Harlan Miller were two mainstays on Scott’s defense at Southeastern Louisiana, both earning All-America honors in 2014, while seven other defenders – Denzel Thompson, Jacob Newman, Tyler Stoddard, A.J. Bowen, Drew Misita, Jordan Batiste and Micah Eugene – joined the pair on the All-Southland Conference teams.
