šŸˆ HC Scott Cochran assembling a staff with a lot of former Alabama players

As the last football-playing Alabama member of the venerable Gulf South Conference, I really hope UWA and Cochran clean up. This many Bama guys means they should know what it's like to be taught, to practice, and to remember their development and game planning. The big unknown is whether these guys have enough coaching experience to translate that into their teaching/coaching of others.

Are there any former UGA guys on the staff?

I’d be concerned with the number of coaches who have zero coaching experience. Sure, they know how to play football, but can they teach it? It’s a great start of a coaching career for them but he’s going to be judged on results. Shouldn’t they be in the middle of Spring practice right now?
Yes, I have the same concern. My hope is that the Scott Cochran coaching tree blossoms, and these guys can learn to coach. As upperclassmen, they should know how to set an example and should retain some of their instruction. The game planning is the biggest unknown, for me.
