One of my favorites too; probably because I got to see him play High School ball. Not something as common in Tennessee as in Alabama. We played Tullahoma (for some reason) for our Home Coming game; he was a man among boys on that field. I was really young, but I remember he lit us up.

From North Alabama and have lived in Hsv since mid 80's. My wife was born in Kingsport Tn but moved to Alabama when she was 6 months old. Nashville is a nice place. After those two things can't think of anything good to say.

Grew up in Huntsville, we used to pass through Tennessee to get to the Smokies (Cherokee, etc). And the family would cruise the Tennessee river (and Guntersville lake) in the boat.
