I learned yesterday that Hall's now has a seafood place in Nashville. Maybe someone will stop in and try it out.

I asked the lady that told me about the place, "what's the price point?" She said, "$100 to ..."

I went to college with Pat, really good guy. Lived on the same floor of the dorm. We used to go to his folks house in Mississippi some weekends and stay up all night while he cooked a whole hog in a pit he and his dad built.

Yeah I live only about 45 minutes to an hour south of there. Couple hours from Nashvlle. Make that trip often.

The Natchez Trace begins or ends in Nashville.

Patsy and I went to the now closed Stock Yard restaurant in Nashville for our 20th anniversary. ZZ Top was there and at a table near us. Some guy asked if he could have his picture made with them. I don't remember which one but one of them said, "No pictures but sit down and I'll buy you a beer." He walked away! What a dumbass.

They walked by our table on their way out, I nodded my head as they approached and said, "We enjoy your music." Each one of them said, "Thanks." But didn't offer to buy me or Patsy a beer.

Something good about Nashville? Well, it’s not Knoxville and not everyone wears orange on Saturdays. OK … that’s two things but they’re related.
