🏈 Riddle me this with recruiting, stars, talent, and the success Saban has at Alabama.

Just to make sure I'm on the right page over these past few years.

1. When Alabama offers a player, they immediately get a bump from the recruiting services because Bama has offered.
2. When Bama gets a committment, they are given the "Bama Bump" because they committed to the Tide.
3. Saban isn't that good of a coach. The only reason he wins as much as he does is because of the recruiting done at UA as evidenced by the highly ranked classes signed.

I've been hearing this for years. I just heard it again this morning.

So, if I'm understanding this correctly ... the reason the classes are so highly ranked is because they are players offered by Saban. The reason Saban is so successful is because his classes are so highly regarded.

OH, UGA fan that was "enlightening me" on these "facts."

Have heard such..makes sense...thats what the CF world thinks of NS because of his intense evaluations.....
As far as a HC.....Pretty dang good at selecting assistants....@UGA, @MSU, @FSU, formally at UT, @ FAU, @USC east, etc...
One talking head said one time..."its less about the Xs and Os...and more about the Jimmys and Joes"...keep putting the best players on the field....and National Championship will follow....
And seriously....how could someone from UGA make any claims negativity about anything...after Richt and his "find away to blow a season " philosophy.

I think he was a five star the entire process. #1 rated backs rarily come out of nowhere, and I think he was a five star most of the cycle.

Mike Farrel stated a couple weeks back that Saban wasn't as good of a recruiter as CUM. I could only laugh because he made that comment by stating Saban didn't have to be a master recruiter because the on the field success does it for him. Well who recruited the freaking first classes to build those results. Also, who had the higher average signing class. Farrell is alright at times, but others times I want to punch his fat sloppy ass for being an idiot.
