With people in Barnes camp talking about the lack of support he feels he's getting from Tennessee—specifically Fulmer—the notion they'll get looks from other coaches because they are committed to the basketball program like Dari suggests doesn't make a lot of sense.

Let's hope he goes. Barnes thinking about leaving for UCLA does feel like he's not getting what he wants in Knoxville. Being named COY at a football school may not be the pecking order Barnes can live with. As far as well known coaches lining up for the job, it's never happened before. Bruce Pearl was a reach at the time of hiring and his replacement Cunzo Martin doesn't suggest that elite coaches are lining up for the privilege.

UCLA is not a traditional power anymore and I do not think anyone is scared of them or worried about them as a threat. With all of the crap USC is dealing with, it wouldn't shock me at all to see something similar going on in Westwood. Just stay out of California is my thinking, but hey, lots of people like it.

LA sucks been there many times concrete jungle air quality sucks you got to worry about fires and mud slides. In my visits experienced two earthquakes.
