| FTBL "Regardless of pro readiness, there won’t be 10 guys at the combine who, pound for pound, test better overall than Milroe."

I think we have a number of situations in play here... Here's 3 of them, IMO...

1- Fans think he sucks, they don't like him, and they are wishcasting that he doesn't get drafted because that will make them feel good.

2- Fans think he sucks, are mostly indifferent on him, but they've been talking openly for a while to everyone about how much he sucks. And seeing him get drafted early would undercut that line of thought that they are dug into. They are scared they are gonna look foolish.

3- Some people are equating a high draft selection with guaranteed NFL success, which isn't the case at all. But they think the 2 are married.
Wow … really? That’s your take on those who criticize Milroe? By the way, the implications of 1,2 and 3 are the same no matter how you shuffle the words.

That sounds about right...

I believe those are 3 of the reasons, yes. I have to ask at this point, why are you so (seemingly) bothered about some of the things I say on this site?

The ceiling on the good Milroe is crazy high. He was just to inconsistent. People said a lot of the same things about Hurts. Where Jalen was when he was drafted is not the same as where he is now. Same will be with Milroe. Milroe is a respectful thoughtful kid and from all accounts works his butt off and is a great teamate. The OC and OL did not do Milroe any favors yesterday or in the games we lost. I have been more concerned in the losses with the staff than the players. Gotta coach them up or give the next guy a chance when it become obvious the current guy is not getting it done. Now that also assumes the backup has demonstrated he is capable. If not then CKD is just playing with the hand he was dealt. We all assume CNS left the program with a lot of talent. I think he did but in some position groups that may not be the case. OL seems to be one of those. I had highe expectations out of that position group but they fell short for sure. Poor OL play makes it really hard to play well at QB.

Listen... Take a break from posting for few hours. Just process what they're trying to tell you. Shoot, I'm trying to tell folks same thing... reactions are overblown because it's emotional. Take emotions out of the conversation and you'll see what we are trying to tell you.

Milroe will be drafted based on POTENTIAL. He has done pretty good things... and folks won't look at that. they just wanted to focus on negative things. There are so much conversations about Milroe in past 24 hours, but Not one single conversation about how poor OL played yesterday.

TAKE.... THE... EMOTION.. OUT OF... THE CONVERSATION CASEY.

First off, emotion has zero to do with this. You telling me to take a break when you refuse to offer zero substance to anyone is comical. All you continue to do is question everyone's comments, make excuses for a guy that doesn't deserve excuses, and then have the audacity to talk to us like we're the problem. I've got news for you, when you make millions in NIL money, you're gonna have millions of dollars in expectations from the people that made that possible. You holding his hand and making excuses all year long for him will not help him in the NFL.

He will get drafted, no one ever said he wouldn't. My comments have simply been, you're an idiot GM to take him in the first round like you and the others you're eluding to that we should all listen to have been saying. All of a sudden the stance is starting to say "no longer first round". He played like shit this year, that's not emotional, that's statistical. Yet you want to blame the coordinators, head coach, and system. Let's be honest, the dynamic athlete you've annoited him would have produced at a higher rate than he did. He's gone and now the program can move forward from him. You also refuse to admit how many times I had his back in the past and talk about how good of a person he is and how great he was to my son, so once again, it's not emotional for me because I continue to sing his praises as a human being. I'll say it again, you don't like brutal honesty, most don't, and a lot of honesty has been getting spoken the last 24 hours from a lot of people on here about what we witnessed.

You're out of your mind to sit there and say no one has said anything about the offensive line. Do yourself a favor and go back and read every message posted. Look at the Good, Bad, and Ugly where folks said the line was bad. The frustrating part is your dying on a hill that collapsed yesterday, have the audacity to tell everyone to chill out, and then have the nerve to say you don't want to be a fan anymore and walking out, and then tell me to quit posting?

Unreal.

I didn't tell you to quit posting. I was telling you to take a break for few hours to process things and what you said is from an act of emotion you're displaying right now. That's it n

I do think he needs to come back and go somewhere like USC, I think Riley could develop him up. And his offenses are usually tailor made for QB's like Milroe. Wouldn't be a bad spot at all for him.

Lincoln Riley and Bama QBs named Jalen...Is this going to start being a thing? 😂

I agree. I think a change of scenery with a different offensive-minded coach can help Milroe.
