šŸˆ RECAP: SEC Week Two ...

"In case you wanted to hear words that could strip paint from walls..."

That's the snippet that AlligatorArmy.com uses to describe the tone of Coach Mac's press conference. That strikes me as interesting when I think about Mac's personality versus that of ex-head coach Will Muschamp. Take a moment and listen to what Mac has to say about the game, the weeks' preparation, and what it takes to be a successful football team. I believe you, like me, will walk away impressed.

Before getting critical of Tennessee letting one slip through their fingers take this into consideration for a second. Do you remember 2007? Do you remember the Saban quote, "they need to learn how to finish?" There certainly isn't any love being felt from me for the Vol program. But, they certainly appear to be on a better footing today than they have been in the last eight or nine years.

Was Muschamp coaching the Auburn offense Saturday? OK, not my line. I ran across it on Twitter yesterday. The question still needs to be asked, right?

Dear Hugh Freeze, I wasn't impressed when I saw seniors beating up freshman in high school either.

Dear Bret Bielema, remember what made people listen to you last week when you were talking about the Ohio State schedule? If you don't, let me give you a hint. It wasn't Allen throwing the ball. (As much as some of you aren't going to like this, Danny Kanell summed it up perfectly last when he pointed out Bielema should have been concentrating on Toledo instead of thinking about December and schedule comparisons.)

OK, I still don't have an answer. Was Muschamp coaching the Auburn offense yesterday?

UGA still doesn't have an answer at QB.

Rumor has it UofSC is changing the mascot to a swan ... looking like seeing this season as Spurrier's swan song is a real possibility. I'm left laughing a bit this morning thinking back to Spurrier's comments about Saban working so hard while he's playing golf. Someone needs to pick up his ball and just go to the clubhouse.

Good God!!! I took a bath in the Sportsbook!

I do remember last year when all Spurrier could talk both was CNS. Then he got his (and his teams) ass drug up and down the field. Was put he just running his mouth about someone else? Same with Beilima. Fist it as running his mouth about hate much he hates Auburn, (that's our job.) then OSU. MAybe if these coaches would concentrate on their team, and the team they have coming up,mother kith t could win a game. JMO.

No one think CNS will have either one of the QB's ready for next Saturday night game? You do know that he kind of like Coach Bryant! (You a true Bama Fan you know what I mean)

10rc can be run on and lacks something in their receiving corp. When Maggit went out their defense looked slow.

Fournette may hang 250 on awbarn

MSU and Arky gonna be MSU and Arky

A&M may be Bama's second toughest conference game

UGA is no better off at QB than Bama

OM is feasting on weak teams but they are doing what they should. No surprises from them. Does Tunsil play in Tuscaloosa?

Terrible QB play = South Carolina. Gonna be a tough season in one of the Columbias.

Was it David Pollock who said Jeremy Johnson would contend for the Heisman?

I would be shocked if Tunsil did not play this week.

3rd best team in the Big 12 had to go to OT to beat a middle of the pack SEC team.

Miss. State a bit better than I thought, ditto LSU. Arkansas not as good.

Boogs secondary has not improved from last season.

He was among dozens who put JJ up on the "watch list."

SVP's show was entertaining yesterday hearing him back track on what he'd said about Johnson. Last season he was pushing Johnson over Marshall.
