No SEC program likes to toy with the emotions of their fan base quite like the Auburn Tigers. If a recent ESPN panel is to be believed, that proud tradition will continue into the upcoming season.

ESPN college football writers Andrea Adelson, Edward Aschoff, Chris Low, Adam Rittenberg and Jake Trotter were all asked a series of questions during a recent roundtable article over at ESPN.com. While the writers gave unique answers to most questions asked of them, one question asked of all five writers produced the same answer.

Which top-10 team is most likely to end the season unranked?

They each answered Auburn for various reasons. Noting the losses on the offensive line, the coaching of Gus Malzahn and the brutal schedule facing the Tigers in 2018, every writer picked the Tigers to be the most likely candidate to disappoint in 2018.

Do you agree?

I read this yesterday and I would have to agree. I like to look on ourlads.com and look at the depth charts. When you see only 7-8 guys listed on the 2 deep in the Oline and 4 of those are seniors and the others are true fresh with no experience, leads me to believe that they will struggle. Also, no bell cow at RB. I don't care if Stidham is back and has 5 all-americans at WR, Gus really loves his run game. I see 8-4 or 9-3 as highly possible or likely.

Five of five list Auburn to finish unranked. Two of those guys mentioned Auburn as being over ranked in the first round question (which only makes sense, right?) Low points to Michigan.

Chris Low: Michigan. The Wolverines return just about everybody on a defense that was downright nasty a year ago, and that's always a good place to start. But there's a ton of pressure on transfer quarterback Shea Patterson to pump some life into a stagnant passing game, and an even bigger concern is a brutal schedule that includes road trips to Notre Dame, Michigan State and Ohio State plus home games against Penn State and Wisconsin.

My biggest problem..who to pull against when AU plays UT....
It's not an issue for me.

That said, if it were, the answer would boil down to Pruitt in most scenarios.

I hear ya.....and i guess I will go with whoever is doing best....to lose...
But these absurd TN fans....if they beat anybody.....the car flag business will boom...
That said...the Florida, UGA, AU, Bama, USCe....stretch should destroy any hope of life in football...outside of Nashville and Titans
