Taking a much needed couple days off from work, so I've got a little extra time on my hands. If any of you have any team or recruiting related questions, is be glad to try to answer them for you.
Which game are they wearing white helmets?
Kingpin tells me he has been to the stadium and this is the year for AstroTurff installation. We'll see.

Man, in a year when the university is so close to working through the legal and environmental concerns for finally securing Albatross, the live elephant mascot. Turf is going to delay that for sure.

The 86 in my name is the year of my birth. Benton is coming along nicely. Been told he's learning the defense better now. Cowan is still in the dog house, but according to people in the know, he's doing what he should to get back on the field. At this time, I do not expect a major NCAA suspension for him. However, this is a subject that is very hard to get good honest info on. Tua is throwing more and more each day. He will be full go for fall camp. The expectation for Hurts is to stay as the backup until he graduated in December so that he can red shirt if not needed and play immediately as a grad transfer. We are still in the game with Sanders. Need to get him on campus asap. His brother being at UF will be hard to overcome. He's our top target at RB, followed by Ealy and glass. If Ealy doesn't go the MLB route, I believe he will wear crimson.

I hope we have our sights on a few big 2020 targets at running back. I'm not sure if the absolute elite players want to get in line with what we are going to put on the field this year. With Damien coming back the numbers are really staggering and Jacobs could easily return for his senior season. This has got to be the deepest group with real pro potential we have had. It may be hard for this recruiting class to see the possibilities.

What is the deal with Cowan? Did I hear steroids at one point or am I just guessing there?

All I've been told is failing multiple drug tests. This is not information from staff. This is from someone outside the program that is close to VanDarius. Therefore, I advise you treat this as hearsay until UA releases an official statement.

CNS made a statement in March that it was academic issues, and he'd continue to be suspended from practice participation until that improved. Of course, that may be a half truth and failed drug tests or other off field issues are the other half of that equation.

Cowan had character flags in HS that resulted in his being booted from the team if I recall. It is likely that CNS has established strict left and right limits for him ranging from attitude to grades to attendance, etc that must be met for him to fully participate and successfully develop on and off the field, which, for all the grief CNS receives, is one of his primary concerns.
