🏈 Prothro's possible future in coaching

He's at the Jaguar's mini camp shadowing Shula.
The last time Jaguars quarterback coach Mike Shula suited up Tyrone Prothro, one of college football's most promising young receivers at Alabama caught five passes for 134 yards, including an 87-yard touchdown against Florida that set the tone for a 31-3 Crimson Tide victory in 2005.
Prothro's football career also ended when he fractured two major bones in his left leg trying to haul in another TD pass from Brodie Croyle. He collided with UF cornerback Dee Webb and landed awkwardly on his left leg. The damage was so extensive that Prothro, who walked around Friday at the Jaguars minicamp with his leg still in a wrap, never played again.
Instead of being a possible solution for the Jaguars' receiving corps, Prothro is on a different football path. He earned his college degree and is tagging along with Shula at the Jaguars minicamp, trying to pursue a future in coaching.
"Things didn't work out like I planned in football, so I'm taking another road," Prothro said. "I truly believe God has another plan for me."
