Within this thread I've already told you about the percentage of snaps that were taken in the A&M game in regular.
Within this thread I've already told you how the two numbers reflect each other.

Did Bama start out in regular against A&M? I'd have to go look.

It a team is in regular 50% of the time. And, you see a player for that set that is in on 50% of the snaps when the team in is that scheme. It's pretty clear he's spending a lot of time on the field when the team is in that set.

Does that mean he's the starter in regular? I don't know.

Is Shy Carter a starter now?

It's amazing to me how many still think "it's the 2's" when it's not. A back-up is getting snaps, but he's with the ones most of the time.

In a sense it's not so different than those who keep talking about Bama's 4-3 when looking at 3-2 with the Money and safety playing in the box.

You've taken the statement that Dwight was running with the 1's in regular at the end of spring camp--which he was--and turned it into this fiasco. You know this because I beat that freakin' horse past the glue stage during that conversation.
