I seriously doubt it..Wonder if tOSU or the B1G will have the balls to suspend players for the 1st round of the playoffs due to the fight.

Are u kidding?Wonder if tOSU or the B1G will have the balls to suspend players for the 1st round of the playoffs due to the fight.
I have to agree with this. The NFL can fine players for such things. Hell, they can fine them for off-the-field actions, too. Start taking away some of their money, and they might straighten up a bit.If any of them have NIL…Fine them.. when all these guys start getting paid by the university, they should be subject to fines and conduct detrimental to the team
Since the NCAA is toothless, the conferences need to get ahold of all the after game shenanigans. Field rushing: This an issue with the home games: Punishment 20% of all of home game proceeds for the next 8 games.Big Ten fines Ohio State, Michigan $100K each for postgame fight after Wolverines' stunning win
The Big Ten has fined Michigan and Ohio State $100,000 each for violating the league's sportsmanship policy following Michigan's 13-10 win in Week 14, the conference announced on Sunday. Both schools are expected to accept the fine.
This is the first major punitive measure that the conference will take after Michigan and Ohio State players fought on the field after the game. The melee broke out when a handful of Wolverines players attempted to plant a "Block M" flag on Ohio State's midfield logo.
After things settled down for a moment, Ohio State defensive lineman Jack Sawyer ran at a Michigan player and ripped the flag off of a pole, sparking another fracas. Staff and security took a few minutes to separate all of the players, and police established a cordon at the 50-yard line.
"We respect the Big Ten Conference's decision in this matter," Ohio State said in a statement. "What happened post-game yesterday was unfortunate. Good sportsmanship is always important in everything we do at Ohio State. Moving forward, we will continue to examine and address our post-game protocols to ensure our student-athletes, coaches, visiting teams and staff safely exit the field."
The Ohio State University Police Department also confirmed via statement that law enforcement at the scene used pepper spray to try and end the fighting. Two Michigan players and a photographer were seen rubbing their faces afterwards.
"Our guys, I did see they had the flag," Michigan coach Sherrone Moore said in his press conference following the game. "Guys were waving it around, and their guys charged us. There was emotion on both sides, and it can't happen. Rivalry games get heated, especially this one. This is the biggest one in the country. We gotta handle that better."
The Big Ten has yet to officially address the incident.
Yes and no.Are u kidding?
This is the new USA. Doing right, acting right don’t matter. At one time we were a nation of laws and respect. Started to be “fundamentally changed” circa 2008. You are correct though. Not going to change until some authority gets in their pocket books. There’s about 3 things that folks don’t want you messing with, their $, their food, and you can guess the 3rd….Since the NCAA is toothless, the conferences need to get ahold of all the after game shenanigans. "Planting the Flag: An issue with the visiting team. Any team that "Plants The Flag" as a visiting team, will be fined $200,00.00 and the player who plants the flags suspended for 5 games, and fined a significant amount commiserate to their NIL money (20%) If the player records to leave the school ( portal, or graduation)) No school records, shall be released by the school until are fines are paid in full. If the player is planning on entering the NFL drat, no cooperation from the conference, including the school will be granted. ( No pro day on campus, no time off or money for travel, no game film etc. No recommendations by coaches etc...) Of course there are problems and issues with this plan, as I have just thought it up in the 3 minutes it's being typed out. But its a start. Until something along these lines happens, I don't want to hear about any school or conference speak on their concern with player, student or factuality safety.
Note: please excuse any typo's etc. I have not had my full allotment of morning coffee, and I got stung by a dammed hornet while putting on my pants this morning. ( We live in the country and often hang our clothes on the line outside to dry.
( Note to self: Always shake out your clothes when removing them from the line, and again before donning said clothing.)

Thought you said something else...was gonna say "Well, guess that's one way to calm em down."These young kids need to be jerked up by the upper classman and be told in no uncertain terms we do not do this crap at Alabama.
It’s all about money… Just like Wrastlin’ controversy makes the money… Some of the guys are “Babyface” and some are “Heels”..Just like Neon Deion or Primetime in the 80s..But now it’s makes um money…Don’t be surprised if some of they players collaborate for storylines or podcast… oh wait..The players run the fucking show now. The coaches are not in charge in any way, shape, or form and are only there to facilitate the whole thing. A coach trying to impose a consequence on a player would be like me telling my bosses I am writing them up
