I've seen some big crowds at high school football games in the south. I hadn't even dreamed high school baseball was this big in Japan. Look at the crowd size.

Damn at the crowd!!! Last Spring, I witnessed my alma mater, Corner HS win their first baseball state championship over ACA up at Jacksonville State. It was packed but I’m guessing their stadium only holds maybe 2-3k at most.

Earlier I was thinking about the crowd sizes in Huntsville growing up: specifically the stadium schools like Grissom played. The attendance was on par with the games I've watched here, lately, for The Citadel or CSU.

That game? That looks like it would rival a MLB crowd.

Looked it up. This is the same drop down board I played on...the door earlier, concession stand. Damn.

I called my uncle to verify what I remembered. It was roughly $2600 a year to attend my high school when I graduated. '85, right?

My mom taught there. I had free tuition.

BTW something has changed (may be on my end). When I post or reply to a post the first two lines or the original text is shifted then the rest of the text is left aligned. Any ideas what that might be?

Interesting, because it is on top of a cave? When the school was built it was what I'd call "upper middle class" neighborhood. What ya mean?

If I am looking at the right location it shows around sparkman and pulaski pike. That is not an upper middle class area anymore. Most of the upper middle class is spread out all over now. The north central part is low to middle class based area.

Yep. The third house down was the house the school owned...I could tell you about his daughter. The house on the corner...left, NE, parsonage. I biked all over that area as a kid. Had a bike a school and one at home. Been in the caves...
