Here is the biggest reason you find me on this forum. Do you see your avatar now? There are a few guys that sell that hack for $30 bucks or more. It took me a little minute to figure out how they did it...didn't cost a dime other than my time. It was a puzzle.

So do you do IT/Web type work in your day job? I have a EE degree and have done embedded firmware dvelopment for years in the telecom world (more manageing teams of embedded folks now). Never got into the web page world.

Yes. It's not a "day job." It's when I decide to work. I'm "retired" now...but, get calls every other day from my old company, Evening Post Publishing. I built their web presence back in the late 90's.Three o'clock this morning those 'effers" called me for a script change. "I'm not getting out of bed..."

I did the same thing for AL.com for awhile...even wrote for them until I go tired of their bullshit. I was billing them $120 an hour in '08. This is an example of one of the stupid things in life. It was about like the DOGE thing moving the sign in button on the VA site...you can charge stupid money for the littlest of things.

To your question...I taught myself how to write HTML. I still stumble with that coding. I learned (am learning) PHP which is how this site is written. The CSS...pretty good at that one. It's just a game, mando. About like looking at a piano...give me a second to figure it out. It's weird...I can just see the code but have problems writing it. I could go on here....

This is the hot dog thing. I know what I can turn on this...but I don't want to get up at six in the morning to man a cart. I have a meeting Wednesday to talk about the nut on the old Brusters Ice Cream place. But, it's all hot dogs. Perry Cuda did it in Summerville to great success.

Here's what's fucked up. You see the street number? 143? I used to write that to my 'first love,' I love you...1 4 3.

Right next to Cook-Out. I'll put their late night business out on hot dogs. I'm selling 2 for .99 and operating at over a 90 percent profit margin...with labor.

But I don't want to go to an office at six in the morning again...did that too long in the bar business.

BUT...we're looking at one cart doing 70 a year. Three, and I'm at a quarter of a mill on revenue. This is how stupid this world is...I just have to train a street vendor. It's going to be all commission based. I'm on a rant now...
