šŸˆ Playoff teams and the Ohio State situation

I know Harbaugh wants to talk about officiating, hopefully someone has the courage to inquire why Michigan got 5 yards in 3 offensive series in the 4th quarter. Ohio State outgained them 120 to 5. In other words, Michigan's offense moved the ball 15' in 3 series, said differently....fifteen feet in the 4th quarter.

Assuming we win next week, our #1 seed is perfectly justified.

Also, assuming Clemson beats VaTech, they would have 12 wins and a conference championship and they should be one of the four. Their only loss would be to a top 25 team in Pitt. They would have quality wins over FSU, Louisville, Virginia Tech and maybe Auburn.

If Washington beats Colorado, they would also have 12 wins and a conference championship and they should be one of the four. Their only loss came at the hands of #20 USC (who is trending up these days). They would have quality wins over Colorado and Stanford.

Washington and Clemson would be the ONLY schools with 12 wins. And they would be conference champs. That should automatically get them in.

Now then, it seems that in the media, it is a foregone conclusion that Ohio State is in with their 11-1 record. However, if Penn State beats Wisconsin, they will also have 11 wins AND they will have a conference championship, AND they already beat Ohio State head to head. Their losses were to Pitt and Michigan - both ranked away games. Why wouldn't Penn State go along with Clemson and Washington instead of Ohio State?

Maybe my disgust for Ohio State shines through, but a conference champion with just as many wins AND a win over them directly should count for something.

When Alabama played LSU for the national championship, it was considered a disaster because Alabama didn't win their conference championship or even their conference division. This led to the support for the playoff. While tOSU is a good team, I question how the committee will respond to their not winning their division or their conference championship. Do conference championships now mean nothing?

Jim Harbaugh was in a hurry to let the SEC know what he thought of their complaining, dealing with satellite camps. After Saturday looks like ole Jim could teach classes on the subject.

It didn't take long for Ohio State fans to dig up this tweet from February.
Question of the day: Does anyone find whining to be attractive? Just curious.

I'd like to see Bama, Clemson, Washington, Big 10 champ. Not the big 10 runner-up. I am skeptical about ohio state being the all they think that they are. The OL has looked really bad against inferior competition and there have been a few close calls, most recently 17-16 over a 3 win Michigan State. The controversy in the Michigan game aside, I think at least 2 of the other 3 teams (maybe all 3) ranked in top 4 could beat them.
