Putting these here due to ongoing construction in the betting parlor.
Appy State at Tennessee
Optimism is running rampant in Knoxville, with good reason. The Vols have had several good recruiting classes in a row, they have senior leadership, and they have depth. Forget about UT making like Michigan did a few years ago and getting upset. The Viles are hungry, and feel like they have something to prove.
PJ's picks- UT wins easily, covers the -20, The o/u is close, but I like the under.
South Carolina at Vanderbilt
If you like offense do not watch this game. Both teams were terrible on offense a year ago, and figure to make only incremental improvement. Meanwhile, both defenses were decent. Althougj this game is in Nashville, Vandy fan support, or the lack of it, means there is no real home field advantage for Vandy.
PJ's picks- Take South Carolina and the points, South Carolina on the money line, and under 44.5.
LSU versus Wisconsin, at Green Bay
Wisconsin still plays pretty much as it did when Bielma was there, with a run heavy offense and being physical on both sides of the ball. LSU is, well, LSU. They are deep on both sides of the ball, have Superman playing tailback, and a pair of budding stars at receiver. The question comes down to their qb play, much as it did a year ago. If Harris can make plays, LSU makes a run at the NC.
PJ's picks - LSU wins, covers the 9.5. I think they will have enough explosive plays on offense to cover the over as well.
