Uh, Chief, when in the last few years have I paid attention to the AP poll?

Seriously though, in the same conversation I also said an OU win would propel them up in the early polls as well. Do you think they'd be coming in at #5 with a loss?

When we were having that conversation we mentioned a few times that our QB situation would come into play. One thing I find interesting is the number of fans saying there's no reason to believe in what Coker can do until we see it but those covering the sport in the media have a lot of faith in what he'll bring.

I still think #2 is too high. It just doesn't "click" with me when I consider everything around the way the season ended and the changes in personnel. Personally, I'd put OR in that position.

But, after that? I'm still of the opinion that there's an argument to be made for every team down through #8 to be ranked higher than they are—or lower depending on your viewpoint.

I can dig it. I know we have a stable of "promise" but "Is" and "Does" are two different things as we both know. I suppose I should have clarified. I'm just worried about that position.

Biggest Issue for 2014 is Coaching

I agree that the QB Is NOT going to be the most important element for Alabama to make the final four next year. It is going to be number four on my list

Coaching- completely out coached in a number of games last year not just the last two. No answer for up-tempo, zone read

Secondary-coaching...as much as talent

Offensive Line- Cyrus is not a great loss. This year will determine whether or not Mario can deliver...We have the raw material.

QB - Kiffin + bench full of QB talent + RB = no problem mon

Bottom line it's a coaching issue IMO

I'd always, ALWAYS, prefer to be the wolf climbing the hill rather than the one on top continually trying to defend it for 3 months. 7 or 8 would have been more comfortable and less of an anxiety.

Yep, my power/heat was out on Monday, then from Wednesday to Sunday morning :bs: Got more snow last night, then again on Wednesday hahaha what the heck!!!
