🏈 Phil Steele predicts..... Bama & Buckeyes !!

I agree I would love to play anyone and I hope we get a chance to, although I am sick of hearing how the Oregongs continue to blather about how they could score at will on our "D", I would kind of like to put those big talkers to the test! Even more pleasing would be watching our "O" ground them into the dirt keeping their super powerfull offense sitting on the sidelines with an occasional 3 and out, I dont want to play them like the Barn did with a chance to win in the end, I want to see "make their ass quit"

i think it is a good call as their schedule is very friendly. us getting there is another matter. i could see the SEC beating themselves out of the title game this year.

I don't see Ohio State making it to the championship. With as easy of a schedule as they've had, they're bound to slip up one game. @Michigan could be the game too.

Same goes for us. I know we have the leadership, the talent, and the best coaches, but there are some games where the ball just doesn't bounce your way and everything goes against you.

Ohio State really has just the 1 game on schedule that could trip them up, @Michigan. @Texas A&M and a home date against LSwho are our toughest tests with a possible rematch with UGA in ATL being our hurdles. I'd love to go back to Pasadena and blow out whoever ESPN props up against us.

I don't think anyone would disagree that tOSU, with the schedule they have, is going to have to go undefeated to get to Pasadena. Anything less is just not going to cut it. With that said, you are not only looking at 13-0, you are looking at 25-0. Too much pressure. Only 19 teams in the past ONE HUNDRED YEARS have won 25 straight games. None since USC won 34 between 2003-2005. IMO, tOSU ain't gonna be #20. The longest streak they ever had was between 1967-1969 and was ended at 22 games by Michigan.
