I'd have to read into Shoeless Joe, but throwing a game is much worse than simply betting on games you didn't play in.

I’m glad they got reinstated.

I think a 25 or 30 year ban would have been a better choice at least they might have had a chance to see themselves placed in the hall.


So, I guess now they have to be voted in by the veterans committee to actually get into the hall of fame……right?

Hotly contested as to whether he actually had any knowledge of a fix. He led multiple categories in offensive numbers including a record 12 hits.

MLB was ready to do it but Pete was stubborn about it and refused to cooperate. Not a surprise he's been reinstated now though, the first step to getting into the HOF... mentioned a while back that some of his former teammates pushed hard for this and they deserve most all of the credit.
