University of Alabama Director of Football Operations Joe Pannunzio is headed to the Philadelphia Eagles, TideSports.com has learned.

Pannunzio spent four years at Alabama (2011-14) as the director of football operations, essentially overseeing all aspects of UA head coach Nick Saban's program. Before coming to Tuscaloosa, Pannunzio served at Miami for five years (2006-10).

It is currently unknown what role Pannunzio will hold for the Eagles.

In Philadelphia, Pannunzio will join Eagles Vice President of Player Personnel Ed Marynowitz, who directed recruiting at Alabama from 2008-11.

Obviously .. I support this. Now we have him and Stoutland! I reckon he will have a front office sort of job. We also grabbed Marynowitz last week. That's 3 Bama guys now!

Perhaps we go for Collins with pick #20 in the draft ..

We got Pannuzio and Stoutland together from Miami, didn't we? Wonder who will take that spot? Would that be a good fit for Niblet at Hoover? Do that for a year or two and then move him to an on field coaching position.
